Let me begin with the books I loved as a child.

Pandora was my favorite! About a little boy searching for his lost cat, the illustrations are exquisite. Clare Turlay Newberry was known for her drawings of cats!
My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes by Eve Sutton is an adorable book about how cats love boxes, as we know they all do!
Ghost Cat by Helen Rushmore is a cute story for a young reader about a 10 year old girl in Appalachia who befriends a stray cat and names her after the local ghost.

The Seven Wonderful Cats is a delightful story about Dame Wiggins and her family of clever cats.
Millions of Cats by Wanda Gág. This is a children's classic for all time!
The House of Thirty Cats by Mary Calhoun is a charming young reader's story about a girl who befriends an elderly cat hoarder. I loved it.
This is a great cat book, beautiful photographs of a house customized for its feline residents! The catification of the home the authors have accomplished is amazing!
